4.08 Plot Plan Submission:
Per Design Review Committee Architectural Approval Covenant 4.5, a plot plan must be submitted to the DRC prior to commencement of work to accomplish any proposed improvement to property. A plot plan is a legal document showing property lines, the placement of your house within those property lines, all utility easements, distances to property lines, lot and block information, address, etc. Each homeowner should have received a copy of their plot plan at closing (see the DRC page of the web site for an example of a plot plan). If you did not receive one you can check with the Town of Erie Building Department. If you do not have one, and cannot obtain one from the town, please contact the DRC for assistance. It is important to the DRC to have this document when changes are being made to your landscaping to ensure easements and grading are not obstructed or compromised.
